About Job
A well known reputed client require mud engineers in south east asia and gulf regions.
Job Responsibilities
Providing onsite drilling fluid technician services at customer well site by using knowledge of products and service with your skill in drilling fluids technology to optimize service quality.
Communicate recommendation and potential issues to well site personnels.
Recognize drilling problems and propose solutions.
Complete daily reports for field and office personnel.
Maintains fluid properties on rig sites by testing fluid properties (per API standards) for oil/ water/ synthetic mud systems.
Ensure that all fluid testing is equipment is well maintained and calibrated.
Knowledge of drilling fluids in oil (Diesel and/or Synthetic Invert) & water based fluids systems.
Perform pilot field test as needed.
Ensure that well is supplied with products and services in a timely manner.
Assist in efficient operation of solids control equipment.
Represent the company and the operator’s best interest through accurate, professional, in-depth interaction, reporting with key personnel by demonstration of current industry level expertise in drilling fluids engineering.
Maintain accurate and timely maintenance of drilling fluids records (Mud Reports, Materials Concentrations From, Drilling Fluids Recaps and any other records or reports requested by the company and/or operator)
Responsible for staying with the operator to solve any problems which occur at the drilling site until the problem is resolved (Lost Circulation, Gas Kick, Severe Chemical contamination, etc)
Complete post-well evaluation reports.
Attend and participate in safety/engineer meetings and brief the drilling crew on any aspect of drilling fluids usage.
Perform other related duties as required.
Conduct all business activities in accordance with company HSE policies, legal compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
Fresher with relevant qualification can apply, although preference would be given to experienced and higher qualification.
Prefer technical college education and well versed with computer software skills (MS Office, Windows etc.).
Candidate must have extensive knowledge of implementing fluid testing equipment (per API Standards) and product inventory control on site.
The individual must have excellent communication, problem-solving skills and be diligent
